Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations, refund requests and service changes are handled when purchasing digital services from MILANO MEDIA LIMITED.

Last updated: 11 August 2026

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to digital services purchased from MILANO MEDIA LIMITED, referred to as “Milano Media”, “we”, “us” or “our”.

Our services include SEO, Google Ads and Meta Ads management, website development, e-commerce development, software development, integrations, automation and other digital services.

Because these are services involving professional time, planning, development and other work that may begin shortly after an order is placed, refund eligibility depends on the status and nature of the service.

Please review your package before purchasing.

Package scope, included work and requirements should be reviewed before checkout. If you are unsure which service is appropriate, please contact us before placing an order.

2. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you request cancellation before Milano Media has started substantive work on your order, you may request a cancellation and refund.

Where applicable, unavoidable payment processing charges, transaction fees or third-party costs already incurred specifically for the project may be deducted from the refundable amount where permitted by law.

Whether work has started will depend on the service and may include activities such as project planning, research, audits, campaign preparation, design work, development, configuration or other work specifically performed for your order.

3. Cancellation After Work Has Begun

Once work has started, a full refund may no longer be available because part of the purchased professional service has already been performed.

If a project is cancelled after work begins, we may assess the work completed and costs incurred up to the cancellation date.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, any refundable balance may be calculated after deducting:

  • Work already completed.
  • Professional time already allocated and used.
  • Research or planning already performed.
  • Development or design work completed.
  • Third-party expenses incurred for the project.
  • Other non-recoverable project-specific costs.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights available to you under applicable law.

4. SEO Services

SEO services may involve research, website analysis, technical work, keyword research, content planning, on-page changes and other activities that begin shortly after onboarding.

Once substantive SEO work for the relevant service period has started, fees attributable to work already completed are generally not refundable, subject to applicable law.

SEO results are not a basis for automatic refunds.

Search rankings, traffic and commercial results depend on search engines, competition, website history and many other factors outside our direct control. A particular ranking or traffic result is therefore not guaranteed.

If you believe the agreed SEO work has not been provided according to the purchased scope, contact us so the issue can be reviewed.

5. Google Ads and Meta Ads Management

Advertising management fees cover professional services such as campaign preparation, configuration, management, optimization and reporting according to the purchased package.

Once campaign-related work has begun, fees relating to work already performed may not be refundable.

Advertising budget

Advertising spend paid directly to Google, Meta or another advertising platform is separate from Milano Media management fees unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Refunds for advertising spend charged by an advertising platform are governed by that platform and are not controlled by Milano Media.

Campaign performance

A campaign producing fewer leads, sales or conversions than expected does not by itself create an entitlement to a refund. Advertising results depend on factors including budget, competition, market demand, creative material, landing pages and platform algorithms.

6. Website Development

Website projects normally progress through multiple stages such as planning, structure, design, development, revisions and final delivery.

Before DevelopmentCancellation may be possible depending on how much planning or design work has already been completed.
During DevelopmentCompleted design and development work may be deducted from any amount eligible for refund.
After DeliveryA completed project is generally not refundable merely because the client later changes direction or no longer requires the website.
Service ProblemsIf an included feature does not operate according to the agreed scope, contact us so we can review and address the issue where appropriate.

Requests for functionality, pages or major design changes outside the purchased scope are not considered defects and may require additional payment.

7. Software Development

Custom software development involves project-specific technical work and may include architecture, coding, integrations, database work, testing and deployment preparation.

Once custom development has started, work already completed is generally non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If a software project is cancelled before completion, we may calculate the value of work completed and project-specific costs incurred up to the cancellation date.

Changes to requirements

A request to change the original requirements does not automatically create a right to cancel completed work or receive a refund.

New features or material changes outside the agreed scope may require a revised quotation.

8. Third-Party Costs

Some services may require external products or services. Examples include:

  • Domains and hosting.
  • Premium plugins and software licenses.
  • APIs.
  • Cloud services.
  • Stock media.
  • Advertising spend.
  • Payment processing costs.
  • External subscriptions.

Amounts already paid to third parties may be non-refundable if the relevant provider does not return those funds to us.

Third-party refunds remain subject to the provider's own terms and applicable law.

9. Client Delays and Inactivity

Many projects require information, access, content, approvals or feedback from the client.

If a project is delayed because required materials or responses have not been provided, this does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund.

Examples include delays in providing:

  • Website or hosting access.
  • Advertising account access.
  • Content or product information.
  • Images and brand assets.
  • Technical information.
  • Feedback or approval.

Long periods of inactivity may require the project schedule to be rearranged according to current availability.

10. Recurring and Ongoing Services

Some services, including certain SEO and advertising management services, may operate on a recurring or ongoing basis.

Cancellation stops future service periods according to the applicable package or agreement. It does not ordinarily reverse work already completed during the current or previous service periods.

If automatic recurring billing is used, cancellation requests should be submitted before the next scheduled renewal to avoid the next service period being initiated, subject to the terms shown at purchase and applicable law.

Where a separate contract or quotation specifies a minimum term or cancellation notice period, those agreed terms may also apply.

11. Problems With a Service

If you believe that a service has not been delivered according to the agreed scope, please contact us and explain the issue.

Depending on the circumstances, an appropriate resolution may include:

  • Reviewing the work performed.
  • Correcting an included feature.
  • Completing an omitted item within the agreed scope.
  • Providing an appropriate alternative solution.
  • A partial or full refund where required or appropriate.
Changes of preference

A change in business strategy, personal preference or decision not to continue using completed work is different from a failure to provide the agreed service.

12. Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will normally be returned through the original payment method where reasonably possible.

The time required for the funds to appear may depend on the payment provider, bank, card network and payment method.

Once we have submitted an approved refund to the relevant payment provider, additional banking or processing delays may be outside our control.

Where the original payment method cannot reasonably accept the refund, we may contact you regarding an appropriate alternative.

13. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe there is a problem with an order or payment, please contact us first so that we can review the transaction and attempt to resolve the issue.

Initiating a chargeback does not change the underlying service history, project records or work already completed.

Where a payment dispute is opened, we may provide the payment provider with relevant order information, communications, project records and evidence of service delivery as reasonably necessary to respond to the dispute.

14. Your Legal Rights

This policy is intended to explain our standard cancellation and refund process for professional digital services.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection or other mandatory laws.

If mandatory law applicable to your transaction provides you with rights that conflict with a provision of this policy, the applicable mandatory legal requirement will take precedence.

15. Request a Cancellation or Refund Review

If you need to cancel a service or believe a refund should be reviewed, contact MILANO MEDIA LIMITED with your order details and the reason for your request.
